Simon is from Bedford, England where at the age of 14 began playing with Rushden and Diamonds Youth. By the time he was 16, he had made the first team for the Club. Simon moved on to Bedford College where he played for Bedford Town Mens Team. During College, he began coaching  and was accepted to coach the U10 Boys team for Rushden and Diamonds. Simon currently has his UEFA “C” license.
